Even though the Red Dragons are struggling on the season with a 1-6-1 record, that doesn't erase the fact that several Wentworth Red Dragon soccer players are currenlty leading the USCAA in goals and assists.
Piotr Drwal, a sophomore from Poland, currently is ranked number one in the nation in total points. Total points is an accumulation of assists and goals scored. Piotr leads that nation in total points with 11 goals and 3 assists.
In addition to his total points lead, Drwal is also tied for first in goals scored with his 11 goal tally on the season. Drwal recenlty set a school record that should stand for years to come with his 5 goals scored in one game.
Drwal is not the only player who has made the national rankings. Piotr Wojenski who has been a key player in helping several players score this season, is currently tied for second in the nation with 6 assists. Wojenski is a freshman from Poland.
Wojenski is also tied for 10th place in total points according to the USCAA individual statistics with his 6 asssts and 3 goals on the season.
Also making the top-20 list are Joshua Lundy, of Des Moines, Iowa and Leopnardo Padua, of Brazil. Lundy is currently tied for 14th place in total points and Padua is currently tied for 19th place.
