Wentworth Military College Launches New Website

I hope that everyone has had a chance to check out our NEW Website that was recently launched for Wentworth Military Academy & College!

The website that we have had since my arrival on May 5th of 2011 was not good, to say the least. So, when our IT Department finally launched the new version last week, it was very, very exciting news for me.

I have known for several months that a new website was being worked on by our outstanding IT Department...however, they have been keeping it a secret. So, when they informed me that they were launching it last week during the evening, I honestly could not wait to get to work the next day; it was like Christmas.

I was not disappointed! Great work Wentworth Military Academy & College IT Department!! Great Work!!!

The new website, looks great and it is easy to navigate. If you haven't taken the time to check it out, please go to it as soon as you can at www.wma.edu. And if you are a soccer player who has not applied yet...please apply online through the new website!

Red Dragons Earn Invite to 3v3 National Championships

Several Red Dragons soccer players traveled to Neosho, Missouri recently to compete in the "Life Without Limits" 3v3 soccer tournament.

One of the teams went on to compete in the championship match.

Leo Padua (Brazil), Robert Uwumukiza (Rwanda), Piotr "P1" Drwal (Poland) and Piotr "P2" Wojenski (Poland) all played very well in the tournament which was held on a very rainy and cool day.

The Wentworth Military College team did so well that they earned an invitation to the Challenge Sports 3v3 National Championships. The national championships will be held at the ESPN Wide World of Sports Complex at Walt Disney World Resort in Florida on August 2nd - 4th.

The most important part of the tournament was that the Wentworth Red Dragons played with Honor, Integrity and Class!
